Brown County Info....

First off I need a roll call of drivers that are attending this event. We need a list to take to Sandy so her people can use it as a checklist upon entry to the track.

Ive talked to Billy and he confirmed that the Bill Monroe campground which shares a property line with the track will have a shower house that campers can use. There is a gate separating the properties and he is working on getting it opened for cart/atv traffic.

Lastly, as some of you know fall weather turns Brown county into a mecca for tourists that want to look at the foliage or just to hit the many shops that Nashville has to offer.
There is plenty for everyone with shopping, eateries , or music to entertain while visiting the area.

There will be access for showers with carts/atv but the gate in between the properties will only be open a couple of hours during the morning and a couple of hours in the evening to limit trafic that might be coming back in forth during the middle of the day. There is access to the showers at the campground during anytime through the campgrounds main entrance. There is a charge to use the showers but I am not sure what they are.
I am looking forward to everyone coming down and this weekend is looking like it is going to be our biggast of the year. I want to thank all of you guys for participating at Brown County Dragway.

We are coming from North I-65, turning left on In-46. Which road would be better, turning right onto Hoover Rd or going up to Old State Rd (In-46) then onto Clay Lick Rd then onto Gatesville Rd?

Troy, the physical address that will get them there if they are trying to do a map off of the computer is 480 gatesville rd, nashville IN 47448. directions would be as follows, from Indy, 65 south to franklin exit, take 44 west to 135 south, take 135 south to Beanlossom and turn east on Gatesville rd. From Louisville.. Take 65 north to Columbus exit, take 46 west to Nashville, turn north on 135 to Beanblossom turn east on gatesville rd. From bloomington you can take either 46 to Nashville or 45 to beanblossom if you take 45 you will go straight at 135 (45 ends at 135 in beanblossom and if you go straight at the stop sign at 135 you will be on gatesville rd)

Gates will be open till 6:00 PM INDIANA time to accommodate early arrivals. Gate is located right off the road so there is no room to park outside.

Troy, awful sorry but won't be attending. As much as we'd like to be there, there are some family matters on the radar.

Sandy is a hands on lady and she will be there mowing as you arrive. She told me she would be there around 3.
