Gates are closed for the evening and several cars are already on the grounds. This was a return visit for some and a first time visit to look at the former 1/4 mile facility nestled in scenic Brown County.

Gates open early tomorrow for the show, swap meet and some down home nostalgia racing.

Another day is in the books and it was a busy one. All the quick cars made there qualifying shots and the leader of the pack was Jerry running a 4.53. NQ2 cars got one shot at the tree and all were entered in the no box nostalgia race that was put on by the track. I was red 2nd round to Steve Shehorn who along with necomer Steve Bough made it deep in the play.

Track has teeth like Billy told us it would netting kudos to everyone there from everyone here.

A good time is what I call it and if your not here.....well, you're missing out.

Day 3 is done and it was a exciting day. Quick saw Jerry over Wayne Sears in a double breakout race. NQ2 saw Brett Edwards and myself in the final with Brett taking a starting line advantage and carrying it on down to take the win.

This was my first time at the historic Brown Co. dragway and i will have to say that was one hookin track like troy said Billy said it would be awesome and it was. Plus a win over my buddy always helps to. To all those who wanted to come but was a little leary of the track you all missed a very good time.

I think this weekend proves you don't hace to have 5 acres of asphalt parking & 25.crew entry fees to have a good track surface & a great time ;D ;D ;D

I had a great time . Thanks for letting me run with you guys. Wish I was geared for Bowling Green. But I will be there watching. I had a blast though.
