Thanks for the invite. My name is Dennis. i have a '32 Bantam bracket car. It has a "Truck motor" as my brother put it. ;D 468" pump gas, steel heads, hyd cam. It's 150" chassis. I don't know who built it originally but Gebhardt put a new top on it. It was too short when I bought it. I've been to Midstate and Coles county a couple of times. The car did say "Wicked" on the side in engine turned gold and red. I've race mostly at Gateway. Hopefully somebody buys the place and we can race there again. I race S/P and Pro Nostalgia at the muscle car reunion. I'm the owner of www.crossbonesmotorsports.com I'm not near fast enough to race with the quick series but I can run in a bracket class at the events you run.

About 15% in the tank would get you that 5.99

Dennis,
The Bantam you have was built by me and R & R Chassis in Louisville, Ky. The chassis was originally built in 1999 and the car was run as a QuickRod/SuperComp car until 2006 when a divorce forced me to sell the car to a fellow in Arkansas. The engine that went with the car was 509 Dart w/Brodix heads. The car has run as fast as 5.18 in the eighth and 7.75 in the quarter. Hated like hell to sell but had to pay the ex off. Have since built a new car. An injected nitro 23T, Uyhara FC chassis with a 480ci BBC. (all steel).
Glad to see someone is having fun with it. My son and I had 6 really great years. BTW, we are both height challenged so I'm not suprised you had to have the cage height increased.
Send me some photos of the car if you would. Hope to hear back from you and will see you at the nostalgiaquick series races, look us up. Maliciousintent Racing. Steve

Thanks for the history. It's a great car. I never asked about it's past because I didn't want to hear something like "It was a good car till that time it was upside down on the other side of the wall Or guess how far past the sand trap it made it." ;D This is my first real race car. I've race many years in street cars. I went from a 14.60 '78 Malibu to this car. It's a ton of fun but I don't have to tell you guys that.

You can't possibly imagine how much better I feel knowing some one is having fun with that car. I was afraid it would end up in some barn/garage gathering dust, gutted for parts etc. If you need any additional info or history on the car e-mail me and I'll give you my personal number and we can talk.
