We had one of our local guys run his wife over a few years ago in Joliet. He was in the staging lanesin his RED. The guy pulling lanes told him to pull forward. He did so not realizing his wife was in front of the slicks. I think she ended it up with a broken leg.

On another topic, It's a good time to check all your sfi dates. You don't want the tech guy finding expired equipment before you.

Did you ever think that someone could get run over by your race car while it was being driven into (or on to) a trailer.

No?

Trust me it can happen! In an instant.

How much time does it take for your car to move 30 feet under power? Think you can move out of the way that fast?

Get a winch if you don't already have one, and use it every time you load your car.

Could save someones life. Maybe yours or someone you love.

Many years ago Don Garlits accidently backed over his crew chief and he died from the injuries. I believe his name was Ed Parks and the incident was in Bradenton. S--- happens.
