after hearing the concern of several racers that the conflict between the whitehall reunion and our race i have talked to bob and am in the process of moving our date to the following weekend i should have it set soon i will post it when it is set for sure [jerry]

race date has been moved to the 17 and 18 of sept we will run both days completeing our race on saturday and doing a seperate race sunday giving the people who want to travel home sunday those who want to stay i am proposing we run a 4.70 heads up race we will have to slow down others will have to speed up the slower class could run an all run handicap class this is not a quick series race its a suggestion to the track for the following day

This might work out for us now.
We really like the company we keep there and hope the new owner is able to make some track improvements too. Does anyone think Gibbson will spend some $$$$ on the track?

I really like the location (not too far from home) and of course the friends that race there. Hope Bob installs a couple more lights down track. At my age I need all the light I can get. ;D Dave |

the heads up race is a suggestion to do something different not a quick series race it will be for the track to decide and see if we can help with it let me know your feelings on it so when i talk to bob i have an idea what peoples feelings are saturday is a quick series race

NPCA is proud to let you know that an old friend of ours is now running the new named CENTRAL ILLINOIS DRAGWAY in Havana,
Illinois. He lives just down the road in Springfield. Formely with
the Saftey Safari @ NHRA / American Racing / Impact, & a rumor has it that he is into Funny Cars. NPCA is scheduled for Sept.
17th. & 18th. to KOOL
