Same question from us...anything friday night. We will be there Friday afternoon...maybe camped out in the driveway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nevermind...  ..I just saw the link above..... ;D |

first time run around 4, second bout 1 and1/2 hrs later eliminations close to 7 or 7.30 see you there and nows the time to ask whos coming there will be testing friday and if you want a 3rd time run do it friday or early on saturday

this race includes the 5.10 to 5.99 class so you need to let me know too

Can anyone give me a rundown on when the race is.Friday night satruday ? Are we qualifing friday ? I have not seen any "detailed schedual" on this race the host track website tells me nothing ! Wanting to bring 2 cars ! Any help would be appreciated ! Thanks or call me 800 545 6090 ask for Eric

Friday t & t . Saturday two qualifying runs. The first will be 4pm and second 5-5:30. Elimations will start 7-7:30.
Two classes. 4.99 and faster and a 5.10-5.99 class.

The race was originally to be at Indy (200 mi). It was on our list of races to attend but when it got moved to Owingsville KY we decided to drop it. The trip would be about 450 mi one way.

Ohio Valley Dragway is having a weekend of nostalgia drags on Aug 3rd-4th to go along with the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville.
Classes are the standard stuff with GUARANTEED TOTAL PURSES!!!
Pro 7.0 (4.50) $1000.00, $500.00, $250.00 x2
Pro 7.5 (4.80) $900.00, $400.00, $200.00 x2
PRO Comp/Gas $700.00, $350.00, $150 x2
Delay box's are allowed to stay in. They will post a tech official in the lanes to keep track on any car that has one. Be prepared to show it to the tech at any time.
.400 Pro Tree with the following index's
7.00 - 4.50
7.50 - 4.80
8.00 - 5.10
8.50 - 5.40
9.00 - 5.70
9.50 - 6.00
10.00 - 6.30
Gates open Friday at 6pm.
First qualifying shot at 9pm.
Saturday gates will open at 12 Noon. Second qualifier at 5pm.
First round at 7pm
Track is wall to wall concrete with 1650 feet of shutdown. Track record is in the 3.8x range. There are several movies on youtube as they have a pretty wild outlaw street car program.
Spectator fee is $12.00 per. If you are driving a classic car or a street rod the price is discounted to $8.00
