Anyone know what the material specs for belly pans are, material type and thickness? All I found in NHRA rulebook was that it had to be as wide as the frame rails and two inches deep.  |

Spec no, but ours is .040 give or take a few .001
It's frame rail to frame rail and from the harmonic balancer to the coupler.

Thanks for the info, I'm running a diaper right now but don't really like it so was thinking about building a catch pan. Not sure which one would be the bigger pain in the lower region. Just wasn't sure if would be easier to get on and off.
