taking a poll to see if there is enough interest in a 5.50 class if there seem to be enough interest i could talk to the tracks we are running it could be the same rules with the same entry fees that way with 8 cars you would be dealing with at least 800 to do a payout the other thing you could do is see what kind of sponsor money you could find to help im rite now tied up preaty good with getting the quick series going but with a little help organizing the slower cars i think we could make it work if you care to descuss it other than on here call me 815-861-7533 thanks jerry

Or 5.70 / give us your imput its not hard to raise a little money your race entry gets you and crew in & gets paid back in your prize fund the track makes theirs buy advertising for spectaters not by crew members I don't know about everyone else but i hate paying 300.bucks to get in the gate plus driving 400miles & motels to race for a grand .

harrisburg will have a class its going to be an all run nostalgia class for the cars that are slower than 4.99 it is a 30 dollar entry with 750 purse they will have a meeting before the race to determine how the racers want to split that. the 30 is car and driver and 8 for crew members if they have a good turnout he said he might increase the payout

brown county will allow us to bring a 5.50 or 5.70 class if you want to get me some comitment ill set it up your entry will get you in with car and driver plus 2 crew members your payout will be based on your entry and 100% will be paid back talk it over let me know thanks jerry any questions give me a call 815-861-7533

So will door cars be able to run in the 5.50 class, and will it be an eight car field or all run if there is more than eight? What kind of money are you looking for sponsorship? Do you have a yearly membership fee? I would be willing to help with getting this class set-up if you need help.

talked to ron at the swap meet they will let us run a 5.50 class at charleston also if theres interest let me know so i can get an idea if it will work

rt 57 will allow a 5.50 class will also be same format as quick race just pay entry fee into race car driver and 2 crew no admission to track 5.50 cars give me an idea who is wanting to commit so we can get this rolling thanks jerry

I have to look at your race schedule to be sure, but I'm interested if you have a 5.70 class.

I'd sure like to go 5.50 but it hasn't yet. Working on the chassis and might speed up the screws. Maybe this year.

rite now we are kinda leaning tword the 550 class it will be 550n and faster just like the fast class same format hope you can come join us it is a pro tree handicaped if your close to the 550 maybe you can make it up on the tree lets just see where the interest lies im looking for input thanks jerry
