Hi all, I kind of lost touch with the Quick Series. Spent a lot of time getting ready for the season and had a little problem at Indy. I've been working on my Gasser nearly every day of the week since we got home from BG. Got the body straight, 1/4 panel painted the other day and finished the front suspension too. Now on to the front fender.
Anyway, I forgot how the Quick Series runs. Is it a heads up program for cars that go 4 something or faster? Or is it a bracket type race with a minimum ET and indexes? I got the feeling the series was intended primarily for rails and altereds. Is that a correct assumption? If there are door cars that compete, what is the model year cut off?
Sure hope that it is a great success for all of you this year. The fact that you have a guaranteed payout is fantastic and should draw a bunch of racers!
From our previous discussion on line, I don't think we can compete with you folks because our car's best ET's were mid to high 5.7 something 1/8th mile.
If you are a success this year with the classes you have now maybe the tracks will consider a few slower class for folks like us.

So far rave reviews from the tracks I think Jerry is willing to try a 5.0 to 5.70 or so class we just need commitment from 8 cars or more nothing worse than promising cars & nobody shows  Next year should be better we won't have to schedule around so many different races ;D |

It's such a pleasure to hear something that is upbeat. I just don't know the Series format. Is it posted on this site?

its on here under nostalgia guick series the slower class could be run the same way

Track record was 3.96 two years ago
