benton race is on saturday the 24th we will have a crackle fest on friday nite so as many cars as we can get there on friday nite will be good hope to see you there i will get ahold of them and post times looked on their board for saturday gates open at 2 time trials at 4 racing at 6 i have a call in to see what time cracklefest will be it looks like they do there friday nite thing from 6 to i think 10 or 11 so somewhere in there but ill get us a better idea when i talk to him

Man...that is my kinda schedule there, plenty of time for cocktails after the cacklefest and plenty of recovery time the next morning ;D ;D ;D I am assuming we can stay at the track Friday night but I guess I should probably ask first  So, can we stay at the track? I remember seeing the entry fee is $100 but what is the cost for crew members? Thank you!! |

cracklefest 7.30 to 8 somewhere around there yes you can stay at the track just got off the phone with scott entry 100 car and driver paid to me as i make payout at least 2 crew free entry to track any other questions just ask ill try and answer them going to get us all pitted together by starting line

that may have been street radial record i know dragsters who have gone at least 4 20s on that track

Michelle i watched some of them youtube 's from Benton they we're from a street car shootout 6-11 bad ass street cars that guy went 5.05 @ 149 & then kept going down the frontage road to the DQ for a blizzard (not sure what flavor) before returning to his pit for fuel ;D ;D ;D Not sure of track record but it took 4.70 to make the last Q16 their  some of the other vids in the daytime looked like a really clean smooth track never did find a good shot of the return road  gonna be fun thinking of loading the nitro jug for this trip ;D |
