Thanks to all who came out for our maiden voyage of the NQ2. We started the event out with ten cars and as most of you know we started Round 1 with nine as the "Instant T" of Bob Lair went for a wild ride in practice. Although the car is a total loss, Bob is bruised and battered but is expected to make a full recovery.
The rounds went by smoothly and set us up the final four with Don Nave taking out Bob Kennel's Camaro and Steve Shehorn advancing over a foul start by the Nitro burning slant of Jeff Hendricks.
The final was set and both drivers showed the will to win with Nave's Kreider backed FED and Shehorns Desperado roadster both going under and Nave coming out on top for the win, the cash, and the fuel.
Nave has been on a dream season this summer with wins at Indy GG and the Hot Rod Reunion at Bowling Green and a runner up at Norwalk GG.
