Well as most of you know the next stop for the NQSA will be at central Il dragway in Havanna Il sept 24 and 25. Both classes will be there the 4.99 and faster and the 5.10 to 5.99 class. I can speak for the slow class to say that it will pay 750.00 to win both days as this is two races in two days. That pay is guaranteed both days. Entry fee is 100.00 for car and crew with saturdays entries getting to race on sunday for free. At this time i ask for the racers that are coming to let me know on here or you can call me. Thanks alot and i hope to have a great two days of racing.

Brett, Our plans are to pull in Friday and race both days. We will be in the NQSA 5.10-5.99 class (slow I don't think so).

All right I am going to ask it do you have to be a member to race the NQSA at Havana looking to enter the 4.99 or quicker and have no respect for a full sportsman tree.

no membership all are welcome as long as you meet the rules [jerry] and its a .4 handicap pro tree

My companys way of helping for this race was running a flyer in the paper on sept 17 and again on sept 23 so hopefully that will help a little on getting the word out there it will be both in print and online. You can view it online at Pantagraph.com on those dates.

Brett,
I plan on bringing my friends 66 chevy II out with me to run with you guys in the "slow class". I'll also be running mine in the 4:99 class so figure us for 1 car in each class.

Folks, I'm so sorry we can't be there. Broke the motor on Labor Day. Just have too much going right now to fix before the winter so it'll have to wait.
We sure wanted to be with the NQSA for the last couple of races, and I wanted a chance to go up against Bagshaw again. You guys in 5.99 better bring your best game, he's got a bad Chevy II and great RT's.
We'll do our best to make a couple next year.
