Went to Hardinsburg Sat for the nostalgia race. Turnout wasn't a big as had hoped but there was a ton of things going on this wknd. So with Frog Follies, Somerset Cruise, NHRA at Bowling Green, etc...the turnout was good. Met up with Blownmoney and decided to do a little match race. Since I had never run at Hardinsburg and it is a little bit of a short shutdown, it was suggested that the first pass be solo runs. He ran a 4.67 then I ran a 4.77 laundry out just a touch late but got stopped okay  Skip tweaked the go fast buttons and we went up for 2nd pass. Did our burnouts and then things went really bad  He had a fuel leak and then the tree locked up and the light wouldn't come down...mean while my little car is getting REALLY HOT!!!!!!!!!! Finally they said go, I left and then died...ut oh, we have a problem  Once we got back to the pit I talked to Blownmoney and it seems he blew an intake gasket and it is possible that we may have pushed a head gasket  Skip is gonna check that out today to see for sure. Oh well, that's racing. At least we met a new racing friend with a cool rear engine "nostalgia" dragster ;D ;D So we loaded up the car and headed to Ohio Valley to have just a FEW cocktails watch the Outlaw cars and our friends Darrell and Sandy Wathen. I just love that little Willys ;D ;D Turns out there were some pretty big names at the Valley testing for the Big Go....Billy Glidden and Hector Arana were there, very cool ;D ;D |

scarythought i had a blast yall are good people let me know what happend to yalls car i got mine fixed had to add some weld on the ports to get a better seal on gaskits hope that fixs it this time had to pull the pan to get the screens that were? in the lefter valley they made there way to the pan!!! so i guess things happened to me fore a good reason wouldnt have known the sreens were out of there place but with that siad i really wanted to race yall mybe we will meet up again!! think yall again for a good day ps the guy with my odd alterd< mike> his head is steel swelled up !!!
